I love putting spins on classic meals especially when those little spins make meals more convent when it comes to preparing, serving and eating.
So whats my favorite classic dish to spin?
LASAGNA!
I've always loved lasagna but never liked the ordeal of making it. I hated the meticulous layering of the pan and the need to get things perfect so it stacked and cut right.
I guess the real issue is that I'm lazy LOL!
But LAZY folks unite!
If you're like me and can't be bothered with the perfection of it all check out my recipe below for lasagna roll ups.
You'll thank me when its time to pack your left over lunch, when you need a mini serving for the kiddo's and even when you want to impress folks for dinner (its something about a roll up that just looks fancy)
When I was little my great grandmother used to watch me when my mom went to work. One of the things that I remember most about going to her house is how amazing it would smell when I woke up on the morning.
The kitchen would be filled with the smell of warm fried apples. Years later I still have that scent memory engrained in my mind.
Although she never got to teach me how to make them, my mom did and with the fall season knocking on our doors I thought this family tradition of mine would be the perfect recipe to share with you all.
Hopefully you'll try it out and get to enjoy this sweet treat with your family and friends this season.

...and I'm not just saying that because is my recipe, I'm saying it because it's TRUE!
Seriously I started making this pasta salad a few years back and its become my signature dish. If you invite me to any function between spring and fall, don't even question cuz this is what i'm bringing and its actually gotten to the point where I get request for it *hair flip*
I haven't shared a recipe on here in a while and since spring is upon us I thought this would be the perfect first recipe. I mean it screams spring, the pasta salad its self looks like spring! Is super bright, packed with yummy veggies and just makes you feel good.
After a decent amount of nights doing nothing but ordering take out and getting fast food once I got home from work. I finally decided to actually touch my stove. Truth be told I love cooking but never seem to find the time anymore with my work schedule.
Not really wanting to spend time cooking but knowing if I got fast food one more time I would probably be sick lol I decided to make my chili recipe. Its quick, simple super filling and last a few days. Once I was done I posted this picture on my Instagram
And I quickly got likes and request to share the recipe because apparently it looked that darn good. So as always, your wish is my command =)
Recently I have been LOVING noodle bowls!
Ive been loving them SO much that I purchased 3 this past week from the new opened Honeygrow that opened in my town.
Now while Honeygrow's noodle bowls are bomb...three bowls in a week is NOT bomb for my pockets. So in true Pretty Girl fashion and wanting to save a coin or two, I decided to try making my own bowl at home.
Grab this super delicious and easy to make recipe below.
I love shrimp
Like a lot lol and I'm always trying to figure out new ways to cook it for myself and others, so when I came across this yummy looking recipe that was also SUPER cute I decided to give it a try.
This Pineapple shrimp boat is a cute idea for small tropical themed parties, summer time cook outs or even just to spice up dinner with bad or the kids. Its easy to make and taste amazing!
Want to find out how to make it yourself?
