5 Perfect & Inexpensive Lip Colors For Fall

Hey Loves!!

The past few weeks I have been on a huge lipstick kick and of course since fall is upon us most of the colors have been darker than what I usually reach for.

But I love it!!
I love that in fall & winter a girl gets to get a little seductive with her color choice its something about a dark lip thats just super sexy and the richer the color the better! Its just brings a little something extra to your look while keeping you mysterious ;)

Now played around with a few different brands of lipstick in my life time but the two that have always done it for me are MAC and Wet N Wild for their bold colors and long lasting wear.

So for todays blog I'll be giving you some fall lipstick inspiration and showcasing 5 colors from Wet N Wild that I think are perfect for fall I hope you enjoy!

**Note: Of course depending on skin tone these may or may not work for you but the great thing about Wet N Wild is their color selection, if you can't wear the exact colors below they have something close to it!

1.  The perfect fall nude

Color: 902C
Not all of Wet N Wild's lipsticks have names so be sure to check the bottoms when buying and don't just grab the first nude you see.

Swatch, natural lighting one coat

I really love how smooth this lip color is, most of Wet N Wild's colors go on smooth but this one is just like butter and only needs one coat, for a nude lipstick thats AMAZING!

I used no lip liner but I'm sure MAC'S Oak would look great with it!

2. Fall color for day time

Color: Wine Room ( you know I love my wine)

Swatch, natural lighting one coat

This is a super cute color for daytime in the fall and the closest I will probably get to wearing a "pink" color in the fall. I may even transition out of it the further we get into winter but for now I'm loving it and its slightly pinky hue, its definitely more rose wine in person however.

3. Show stopping lips

Color: Cherry Picking

Swatch, natural lighting one coat

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS LIPSTICK!!
You guys honestly have no idea how much I reach for this color...its like a go to color when you want all eyes on you. This color really packs a punch with one coat and its perfect! Its not too dark and not too light, goes with pretty much any make up look and flatters many skin tones.
If you are looking for show stopping color this is it!

Again no lip liner used, however you could use a darker contrasting color to transition this to night and create a great ombre look!

3.

Color: 908C

Swatch, natural light two coats

This color NEEDS a lip liner and two coats, it started to bleed out a little after I put it on, the true color is seen better in the swatch, I put a little filter on this so it lighted it a bit. However This is a really nice plum color (again shows better in person) I had not found a true plum color until I came across this and I'm hooked. Its perfect for fall evenings and will be a staple in my make up routine all fall and winter.

Dont be silly like me...use a lip liner lol

5. The darker the berry...

Color: Vamp It Up

Swatch, natural lighting two coats

USE A LIP LINER!!!
Even if its not the same color, this just needs something to keep it in line, but other wise....WOW I have never worn a lipstick this dark and It will probably take me all fall to be brave enough to wear this but when I say it is the PERFECT fall/winter night time lipstick GIRL!!!
This lipstick is love!! For all you brave souls looking for the darkest thing next to black go grab this!

I hope you all have enjoyed my fall lipstick picks from Wet N Wild, aside from long lasting wear the best thing about their lipsticks are the price!! You can get each of these colors for 1.99 at your local drug store!! A far cry from those MAC prices right lol.

What are some of your fave fall lip colors?

If you try any of the lipsticks be sure to take a picture wearing them and tag me on instagram @theprettygirlsguide and use the hashtag #prettygirlsguide.

Until Next Time,
XO Deanna
